What is the Red Carpet Runway?
The Red Carpet Runway™, is a patented, easy to use, all-in-one custom designed backdrop & red carpet package, that anyone can create, design and order online. For the first time, individuals, groups, cities and businesses can give their event a customized Red Carpet - at a low cost - virtually overnight!
How long does it take to set-up the Red Carpet Runway?
Total setup time is 5 to 10 minutes. All you will need is a large, flat wall or glass area in mind to hang the backdrop and rollout your red carpet. From there, it is as easy as 1-2-3. The Red Carpet Runway can be easily set-up by one or two people.
Can the Red Carpet Runway be reused, and re-hung?
Absolutely. The Red Carpet Runway comes with both glass and 3M designed hanging supports. Assuming the event theme doesn't change, the Red Carpet Runway Banner can be re-hung, over and over! If your event theme does change - you can reorder just a new backdrop.
What type of Red Carpet is included?
The red carpet is a genuine, Hollywood, CA imported, newly-cut slice of red carpet - shipped in directly from California to our warehouses - and cut from the roll when you order. The carpet is the identical carpet fabric that is used by the "Most Famous Award Show in the World" - among many other Hollywood Awards Shows!
What is the Backdrop Material made of?
The backdrop material is a 16 mil professional-quality vinyl substrate. In other words, while most backdrops you see online - give you either Gloss or Matte - we ship with a material that is in the middle - a "silk style" vinyl. The backdrop is not actually made of silk, it is just a term used for this particular high quality style of backdrop.
What do I need to hang up the Backdrop?
Everything you need to hang your backdrop for either indoor or outdoor is included in the Red Carpet Runway package. For both indoor and outdoor hanging, you will need a flat surface or hanging area to set-up. Glass, wallpaper, marble, walls - typically work best for hanging.
How can I design my own backdrop? Or design my own logos?
Once you purchase a Red Carpet Runway, our team of graphics designers can work with you to design your own custom backdrop and any logos for your event. Or if you already have a logo, just email it to us and we'll take care of the rest!
Can the Red Carpet Runway be hung both indoors & outdoors?
Yes. All you need is a flat surface to adhere the removable hanging hooks.
How does the Red Carpet Runway's banner quality stand up against Kinko's Banners or other Banner I see online?
The Red Carpet Banner is 16 mil vs. 13 mil - which is the standard weight of most banners online, and typically used at Kinko's. After testing over 30 different types of vinyl banner substrates, this material photographed, handled and looked the best if bent or folded. This is do to the quality and thickness of the backdrop.

How much is shipping?
Packages are shipped UPS ground and cost between $30 - $50 per purchase.
Is the Red Carpet Runway a union-approved printer?
All of the customized printing for your Red Carpet Runway is CWA Union Approved Printing. We work with government agencies, city municipalities and other union required printing facility or job.
What is the return policy?
As with any other custom, consumer generated printed product, there are no returns or refunds once the approval the proof and printing has started.
Can I submit my pictures from my Red Carpet event?
Yes. We encourage you to email your photos to pics@redcarpetrunway.com, and add the Facebook Fan Red Carpet Runway's page to your profile!
